Please reach us at info@barefootmusicandarts.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We are accepting volunteers to help with all aspects of the Festival. Please email info@barefootmusicandarts.com with subject line VOLUNTEER if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
This principle means that we are committed to making our Festival as accessible as possible to all members of our community.
This is the type of event where is it safe and encouraged to talk to strangers and even better to include them in your Festival experience and beyond. No matter where you come from, as long as you are safe and respectful there is a place for you at the Festival.
This festival site has some physical boundaries to accessibility that include uneven and rocky dirt roads and paths. Also, parking is limited and will be spread out so anticipate a good deal of walking from your car to the fesitval. If accessibility is a concern for you or a guest please reach out to info@barefootmusicandart.com.
The seven principles of "leave no trace" can be found here. By entering the Festival you agree to try your best to make minimal impact on the land the event takes place on. This means but is not limited to: no open fires, staying on marked paths, parking/driving only in designated areas, using port potties, packing out whatever you bring in, and otherwise doing no harm to the beautiful location we are so fortunate to have our festival on. Plan to take only pictures, and leave only (bare)footprints.
The Barefoot music and Arts Festival will take place at Bethel Farm, Yoga & Living Arts Center in Hillsboro, NH. This is a private property that often hosts yoga retreats and various performances. We are very grateful to Bethel Farm for hosting us and encourage all guests to come back to enjoy a yoga class or retreat.
Campsites at the Festival site are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will include access to potable water, porta-potties or outhouses, and other various festival amenities.
You are encouraged to bring food and snacks for the weekend but there will also be a few food trucks to provide you with dining options. Please remember to compost your food scraps in the appropriate receptacle so as not to attract wildlife to the campground and LEAVE NO TRACE.
Our intention is to throw a substance free event and alcohol will not be available for purchase. Hard drugs and illegal substance of any kind will not be allowed on the property and any one who appears intoxicated will be asked to leave.
Absolutely! Kids are welcome at the festival. Children 12 and under get in free and must be accompanied by an adult.
We request that you DO NOT swim in the small pond at the event site. This body of water is just too small to support bathing for all of us. We do encourage you to check out Gleason's Falls, which is a short walk down the road and will provide you with a delightful water experience. Please remember to supervise children at the falls and use a biodegradable soap if you choose to suds up while you bathe.
Please consider buying a ticket online if you are interested in attending. Not only does this help us with expediting arrivals at the gate, but it also helps us to anticipate the needs of our guests. A limited number of tickets will be for sale at the gate but will cost more than online tickets and may sell out.
While we love our fur babies we have a strict no animals policy for the entire weekend which applies to all pets except service animals.
We encourage art making and performance at the festival! We ask that you leave speakers or other amplified sound at home. If you wish to be a part of the vendor's village please email us at info@barefootmusicandarts.com.
